First Balfour was the main subcontractor to VA Tech Escher Wyss Limited for the erection of 2 units hydro electric turbines for the Casecnan Hydro Electric Plant in Nueva Ecija. Also included in the scope was the installation of 160 metric tons overhead crane supplied by the client. The project was executed in a remote area that is about 1km deep into the mountain.
