The three (3) packages: A1, A2, and B were awarded to First Balfour-DMCI Joint Venture on a Design and Build contract basis by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA). Package A1 is comprised of the construction of the viaduct from Km 15.133 to Km 17.870 (2.737 Km), and building of a pedestrian overpass and walkways. Package A2 on the other hand involves the construction of a viaduct from Km 17.870 to Km 20.614. Lastly, Package B is the construction of the Balintawak Station and modifications of stations, North Avenue and Monumento.
