First Balfour got the award from Manila Water, Inc. for the design and construction of a new 25 million liters (ML) water reservoir last February 7, 2008. The new reservoir will serve as back up for emergency cases at the Balara Pumping Station. It will enable MWCI to increase its current storage capacity and provide safe and reliable water service to meet the increasing demand of its customers. The structure has an outer diameter of 65 meters and 64 meters for inner, a center point height of 8.5 meters and side height of 7.8 meters.
