The project is an extension of the Modesta Water Supply Project, with the 5 ML Modesta reservoir as its source. From the proposed 5 ML Modesta Reservoir located in Brgy. Sto. Nino which will be constructed by another contractor, the Modesta–Silangan Water System Project will start with the construction of the 15 MLD Upper Modesta Pump Station (2 x 500 HP Pump sets) drawing water from the said 5 ML Modesta Reservoir. The projec scope will also include the construction of the Proposed 5 ML Silangan Reservoir located in Brgy. Silangan, San Mateo and a transmission line 500mm Ř that will connect to this reservoir . From the Silangan Reservoir, another Distribution Line with a minimum diameter of 300mm will be constructed traversing up to Monterey Hills Subdivision via De Los Santos Avenue. Stub outs dedicated for those identified beneficiaries in the area will also be constructed and tapped along the Distribution Lines.
